[I WILL] BE STRONG
Joshua1:9; Daniel 11:32
After the powerful searching Word of God on Sunday evening, I was trying to work on find a tune for a song I had written very early on the Lord's Day. Well as it turned out God gave another "song in the night" almost in an instant. So it was a resolve of my heart to be strong!

You saint  and we all got to be strong. Be blessed.

God shows us the End, it is Victory
He shows us the Aim, all- Glorious
To worship and serve in purity
With joy everlasting, enjoying our King

I will be strong, to the end of my life
T o the end of the journey, to the end of the fight
I will be strong, to the end of the race
To the end of history, till eternity dawns!

LORD show us the Way, it’s Jesus Christ
You show the Tool, it is the Cross
To sacrifice all, just as He did
Trusting His work, in humility

Spirit give us the Power, your Mighty Aid
Taking the Word, changing our lives
Obeying the Lord, proving our love
Keeping our souls, for heaven our home

We will be strong, to the end of our lives
T o the end of the journey, to the end of the fight
We will be strong, to the end of the race
To the end of history, till eternity dawns!

ALMOST SLIPPED
Psalm74:2 "As for me, my foot almost slipped..."
Based on my experience, I have written and now heartily share this song. Only those near God truly survive the deception and snares of sin and the Devil.

I lay all before you, but I choose when to do it
Most often it is pleasant
Sometimes it’s not

I feel like Peter, like the worst sinner
Watching and praying not all in vain
And just like David, I missed a step
My foot almost slipped!

Doctrine I know it, the problem is the practice
I bring shame to your name
But your purpose still stands

Am I watching my life (closely)? Am I watching my doctrine?
Fixing my eyes on Jesus
Gives me the power

Enduring all things (I should), faith asks not how it’s so
Seeking to win righteously
God’s grace must reign!

It is good to be near God, the Sovereign LORD my refuge
Holds me by my right hand
I’ll tell of all His deeds

HUMBLED AND PRESERVED FOR HEAVEN

"Come let us praise the Living God, joyfully sing to our Saviour"

I have gifted the youths again this year with the song “Humbled and Preserved for Heaven” for their camp running under the theme To Heaven With You

The song comes from my own experience, sweet meditation and reflections on my walk with the Lord Jesus and my God who gives me “songs in the night”. I am simply amazed and humbled!

1. Unreserved is your Love O Lord
Of simply letting me be myself!

It humbles me, it humbles me
Preserved for heaven so
It humbles me, it humbles me
With Christ I’ll get there!

2. On my own, I would dare not pray
That you forgive and keep from sin

3. In and of self no merit, none
Learning that grace alone befits, preserves

4. Guide me through good and misfortune
Leading me, so this pledge I have

5. I have disinterest in the world
By sense of your abiding presence

6. All my attainments Lord you bless
Sinful pride is no way to go!

7. Deep in my soul upheld by Truth
Reflecting, I love that I’m born of you!

It goes to the tune of the song quoted above from Songs of the Kingdom (SOK)
Be blessed!

WHAT'S IN A FLOWER:

Anniversaries: Important or not? Well, some people dearly appreciate when you remember theirs and wish them the best of God’s blessings. Remembering your own and planning it could best change and color life or it ebbs with usual numbness.

Our anniversary made me reflect on how the ending year and years passed had been. What did and have I and my wife become, where are we spiritually, socially (romantically as well) and economically?

It also offered me an opportunity to look ahead in terms of plans and aspirations and what God says.

Clear to me has been the need to deeply and wisely love my wife and never to mind if she does not get enough of my love! This I am learning.

So as I thought of appreciating her through a bunch of roses and other plans, I did not want it to be a mere romantic necessity.

I thank God for enabling to zero in on a rose flower in the midst of a spinning mind and world around me produce the verse “What’s in A Flower”.
